How much does a Coogee chiropractor cost?

Who will I be seeing at my appointment?
Your care is led by Dr. Matthew Alch (Chiropractor), our lead chiropractor. Dr Alch and the team are AHPRA-registered and members of the Australian Chiropractors Association, so you’re in experienced hands.
What happens on your first visit?
We start by listening: your history, what’s bothering you and what you want to get back to. Then we run a physical and postural check, with imaging only if it’s genuinely needed. You’ll get a plain-English explanation of what’s going on, and in most cases we begin treatment the same visit (all within the $99 new-patient fee).

Where is your clinic and how do I get there from Coogee?
We’re at 116a Boyce Road, Maroubra, a short run from Coogee Beach along Malabar Road, with on-site and street parking. If you’d rather not drive, the 313 and 314 buses stop nearby.

Do you offer same-day appointments?
Often, yes. We run six days a week and keep room for people in acute pain, so a morning call will usually get you seen the same day. That’s handy if a surf session or a long day at a desk has left you sore.
Is chiropractic covered by Medicare?
Standard chiropractic isn’t covered by Medicare. The exception is patients with a chronic condition on a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP), which can subsidise up to 5 visits a year at roughly a $60–$62 rebate each, with a GP referral. For everyone else, we process instant health-fund claims through HICAPS in the clinic.
